Westfield Chili and Chowder Cook-Off 2019
Right now, the very first official Westfield Chili and Chowder Cook-Off includes members of our local fire and police departments, Public Works Department staff, and nine restaurants. But, over the next couple of weeks, that group could expand to even more local professional and amateur chefs.
Here’s your opportunity to get involved in the Westfield Chili and Chowder Cook-Off 2019 in the best possible way…as tasters. The City needs 150 volunteers to sample and judge all entries in the cook-off. The taste test takes place inside the community room of the City’s Municipal Building located at 425 E Broad St on February 24th between 2 pm and 4 pm. To become an official taster, visit the City’s Recreation Department located in the Municipal Building. Or sign up online via the Community Pass website. The cost to be a taster is just $5 per person. The City wants all ages to feel free to participate in this fun event.
