Even though Christmas is still five days away, it wouldn’t hurt you to plan how to perform your clean-up afterward. Most HOAs frown on Christmas decorations left up past a certain time frame after the holidays. Some families make defrocking the tree a time-honored post-Christmas tradition. Any way you slice it, your decorations need to come down at some point. What do you do with tree afterward? Schedule a Westfield Christmas tree pick-up.
Westfield Christmas Tree Pick-Up
The Westfield High School Band and Choir offers its services to help you dispose of your Christmas tree after the holidays. For just $20 per tree, students come to your house, pick up your tree, and transport it to our local conservation center for recycling. You have until December 27th to register for their services.
Money raised from the pick-up helps fund trips and other meaningful musical experiences for the band and choir throughout the year. Just make sure you strip your tree clean of any decorations, tinsel, stand, etc. Then, leave it curbside just outside your Westfield home by 9:30 am on January 5th. Attach an envelope in a visible location on the tree with your $20 payment inside (cash or check with payment to the order of WHS Music).
Elfie Selfie Contest Still Going On
Plan on doing some last-minute shopping this weekend? The Westfield Elfie Selfie Contest is still happening. In fact, it continues through December 29th. Spot an elf somewhere in one of the shops you’re patronizing? Grab your receipt and snap a pic with the little guy. Then upload it to your Facebook or Instagram page with #WestfieldElfieSelfie included in the post. Drawings are held weekly for fun prizes. Enter as often as you want. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
