There’s been a flurry of activity in the Westfield luxury home market since the beginning of the year. Several newly constructed homes entered the market in the last 30 days. The Garden State MLS reported a total of 21 active Westfield luxury home listings. New construction made up more than 70%. Eleven of these entered the market within the last 30 days. NCN Properties has a custom colonial currently under construction that hit the market 15 days ago. Thirteen days ago, two custom colonials by Villane Construction were listed. They’re ready to be built and just need buyers. Eleven days ago, the owner listed a custom center-hall colonial designed by Maria DeCosimo built in 2000. Another custom colonial (built in 2009) also came on the market 11 days ago. Eight days ago, another colonial hit the market. Westfield Luxury Homes Under Contract in January 2018
Only four Westfield luxury homes fell under contract in January. Elshiekh Custom Homes plans to build a home in the Washington School area. Meanwhile, Buentempo recently completed construction on a beautiful three-story colonial with a fully finished basement.
Westfield Luxury Homes Sold in January 2018
Five buyers purchased Westfield luxury homes in January 2018. Four of them were brand new construction. A new Spring House Builders duplex sold in just 12 days. And, a newly constructed Marquis Homes property sold at the list price of $1,279,000.
The Westfield Area Market Report for January 2018 indicated a productive start to the new year. Could this portend great things to come? We’ll have to wait to see.
