General Election Day Information
- When you visit your local Westfield NJ polling location, make sure you bring a photo ID with you.
- Do your homework ahead of time. As a registered voter, you should have received a booklet outlining the candidates, bills, ordinances and initiatives on the ballot this year. Investigate each thoroughly before deciding how to vote and make notes on your booklet. Bring these notes with you on Election Day. These materials are allowed in the voting booth with you. They also shorten the amount of time you spend voting.
- Sometimes wait times can be lengthy. Books, magazines, kindles and iPods (with headphones) make a welcome distraction.
- If you have any questions about where to go or which district you are located in, contact the Westfield Town Clerk’s office at (908) 789-4033.
