It’s apple-picking time here in the Northeast. That means warm apple cider, delicious apple tortes, and good old-fashioned American apple pie. In honor of our city’s upcoming 300th birthday, the historical society hosts Westfield AppleFest 2019 at the Reeve History and Cultural Center this Saturday.
What: Westfield AppleFest 2019
Where: Reeve History & Cultural Resource Center (314 Mountain Ave)
When: Saturday, October 19th, 12 pm to 4 pm
Contact: Westfield Historical Society (908) 654-1794
Westfield AppleFest 2019
Some of the festivities guests enjoy at AppleFest include fun children’s games, Westfield history quizzes, live music from local band Save Mary, and storytelling. While the Apple Cafe promises some tasty apple-themed treats, they also plan on serving up an All-American BBQ to guests. Expect Chef Greg Hichok to add his unique spin on this traditional BBQ, though. Make sure to spend some time touring the historical Reeve house to see how day-to-day life was spent in the late 1800s. And you definitely won’t want to miss the apple pie-baking contest.
Bike MS NYC 2019
Just two more days until Team Guys & Dolls participates in Bike MS NYC 2019. That means just two more days to help us reach our $15,000 goal. Please visit the Team Guys & Dolls page to donate. We’re almost there and could really use your help to get there. Anything and everything helps. On behalf of my six teammates and myself, thank you for your support.
