For many years now, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club. Since the club first began, we’ve managed to raise over $3 million that we use for grants to local community charitable organizations. Our primary fundraiser each year is our Christmas tree lot. This year, the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas Tree Lot starts operation on Saturday, November 24th. So, enjoy turkey with your family on Thanksgiving. Good luck fighting off the crowds for those Black Friday deals. Then, bring the family to our Christmas tree lot to pick up your tree for the holiday.

Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas Tree Lot 2018
We’ll be busy getting everything set up the entire week of Thanksgiving. The Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas Tree Lot officially opens for business at 9 am on Saturday, November 24th. Our lot features both Fraser and Balsam Firs as well as other trees. They range in size from a three-foot “table-top” to a 10-foot “ceiling sweeper”. Pick up beautiful wreaths, Evergreen roping (great for mantel tops and doorway trimming), tree stands and special grave coverings. Whatever you need, we’ve got it here.
Trucks carrying the trees to be sold at the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas Tree Lot 2018 come into town beginning on Saturday, November 17th. We’d love all the volunteers we can muster to help us unload these trees and set up the lot for business. We usually receive about three tractor-trailer loads filled to the brim with trees each season. So, you can imagine how much effort is involved. After the lot opens for business, we’ll also need help loading up patrons’ cars with their tree purchases as well as restocking the lot. If you’re interested in assisting us, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or simply show up at Elm St Athletic Club at 9 am on November 17th or 18th. It’s a great opportunity for local scouts as well as Boys & Girls Club members to get involved in the community.
