I’m very proud to say that I’ve been a member of the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club for many years now. Since its inception in 1947, this non-profit philanthropic group has raised millions of dollars for local charities and organizations. Our annual Christmas tree sales fund the majority of our efforts. So, once you finish up fighting off the Black Friday crowds, get some rest. Then, come to the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas tree lot on Saturday to purchase your family’s Christmas tree this year.

Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Christmas Tree Lot 2019
Last Sunday, several volunteers helped us unload the trucks bringing this year’s load of trees to the lot. (Thank you to all who showed up.) Beginning at 9 am tomorrow, the lot officially opens for business. We offer up hundreds of Fraser and Balsam firs for sale. These range in size from three feet (great for tabletops) to 12 feet tall. There’s even something new this year: a Fraser/Balsam hybrid called a “fralsam” from Vermont. What makes it differ from its parents? It combines the gorgeous evergreen smell of Balsams with Fraser’s hearty needles. So, it lasts quite a bit longer than the individual Fraser or Balsam firs.
You need more than a tree to fill your Westfield home with Christmas cheer, though. In addition to Frasers, Balsams, and Fralsams, we offer wreaths, evergreen ropes, tree stands, and even grave covers.
Westfield Area Y Men’s Club Lot Hours
The lot stays open from 5 pm to 9 pm every weeknight (Monday through Friday) and 9 am to 6 pm every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) through December 23rd (while supplies last). Our stock usually runs pretty thin the closer we get to Christmas. So, I suggest you come early for the best choices. Plus, you just might see me at the lot on any given day. If you do, say “hi”. Fill your stand with water as soon as you set up your tree at home. Then, monitor the water level daily. Add more as necessary. Your tree stays fresh much longer that way.
Unless the weather turns unbearably frightful, the lot stays open as long as it has stock to sell. While opening day appears to be mostly sunny, Sunday and Monday weather forecasts predict snow. Dress warmly and head down to the tree lot for your fresh Christmas tree and accouterments to get your Westfield home ready for the holidays.
